Singer/songwriter Sasha Spielberg stopped by the YTA “studio” to talk about life both as a real sister and as Sister from the band Brother/Sister. We learned how being born laid the groundwork for the band’s formation, discussed the relative hardships (and perks) of having a cool/band-playing/older brother, and revealed her secret (no longer) love for silly campy musical tracks. She tells us how Brother/Sister’s tracks are “the music that would be made by two people who grew up sharing a wall” (tried her best not to misquote you, Theo) and throws a shout out to her supportive parents (because the life of a musician is what every parent wants from their ivy-educated kids).
